iDE is hiring a Director of Information Systems.  We are an international development organization and we'd prefer someone with that industry experience.   Ideally we'd find someone Denver-based, but are also open to remote in some other US states and to someone from overseas in our countries of operation (in the job description).  If based overseas, the "ability to travel to the US and other iDE country offices" is certainly critical and we know that it can sometimes be challenging to obtain a US visa.

The Director of Information Systems is responsible for collaborating with stakeholders to lead the design, development and implementation of iDE’s information systems and software applications. The Director will also provide oversight for cybersecurity and IT support. The Director will initiate and manage IT plans, schedules, policies and programs for iDE’s data processing, network communications, business operations, computer services and management information systems.

*FOLLOW-UP ASSETS READY — From Field Data Collection to Impact: One NGO’s Tech Journey with the Nonprofit Cloud*

Last week we hosted an #International Development #Program Management webinar where World Bicycle Relief (WBR) and #Vera Solutions walked us through how they’re using the Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and the #TaroWorks offline #Mobile field service app to track bicycle maintenance statuses, and track outcomes of schoolchildren at school.

By distributing bicycles to children in rural, developing areas, WBR has increased school attendance of vulnerable schoolchildren by 28%.

Hi guys! I would like some advice on how other non-profits use Salesforce for project management. Could somebody give us some advice, information, webpages, anything to give us an idea of what we could do with Salesforce resources? We are a non-profit based on Washington DC focus on international development in Bhutan. Thank you for the help!

Hi all, I could really use a bit of guidance here. Is anyone actively using Salesforce for Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning? Are you using a third party app that integrates or are you working with a custom build? Any and all advice is welcome, even non-Salesforce solutions. Thanks!

TaroWorks is hosting an discussion previewing issues at the ICT4Ag conference in Washington DC later this month. I thought that you might find it interesting.
