you have hard coded a lot of values in the series of calculations  - don't know how you decided on 4

but the current max month in your data set is   {max(month(date)}

you are running into an order of operations issue  - Blending occurs at the worksheet level after all the dimensions in the underlying table for the sheet have been set and filter (think like a subset of the total data)

the data from the secondary source are then aggregated at the level of the link  - further filter across the data sources is not possible

If you can use a join you would avoid the problem or is you are on 2020.2 and can use a relationship it may work but I would need to see the work book and the data to be of more help

After you drop the sheet on the dashboard, select the sheet and click on the arrow in the upper right hand corner.  Scroll down to "Quick Filters"  and select the filter you would like from the sub menu.

If the dimension you'd like to filter on is not there, go back to your original sheet and add that dimension pill to the detail shelf.  The dimension should now show up in the menu above.

Under the menu on the filter legend you have the option of making if a global filter to apply to all sheets on the dashboard/in the workbook.  In T8 you have the additional option of applying it to selected sheets.

Hi Nathan,

I believe the reason the options for Groups and Sets are not available, is due to the fact that you are building this view using Measure Names and Measure Values. These, as opposed to using regular dimensions with one or several separate measures, do not support these functionalities.

An alternative to enable this, would be to pivot your data to turn the Measure Names into a dimension, and all of their values into a single measure. See the following link for more information: Pivot Data from Columns to Rows

The manipulations to do should be straightforward when working with an Excel file, which seems to be the case here. Let us know though, in case this is still unclear.

Attached is the same workbook with the change performed already. Notice the fields "Pivot Field Names" and "Pivot Field Values" which are a consequence of this pivoting.
