Hi everyone! After spending over 3 decades in higher education - including 8 years in the Salesforce ecosystem - I've created my own nonprofit called CAUSE: Center for Agency, Understanding, and Student Exploration. We support high school and postsecondary students through self-discovery and interest exploration leading them to meaningful careers through peer to peer community support and offer experiential learning opportunities. I know the importance of having a solid, scalable technology foundation, especially with the right data architecture, but as a startup I am still pursuing funding opportunities. I'm wondering if there are pro bono resources available to nonprofits to support some MVP development of Nonprofit Cloud (or possibly Education Cloud) and other products? Or, even aside from tech development, other types of resources which provide general planning and management support for nonprofits? I see a lot of options out there for accelerators, investments, etc. for tech startups, but not a lot for nonprofits. Thanks for any guidance, advice, resources, etc. anyone here is willing to provide!

From what I have seen, early-stage nonprofits can find pro bono support, although knowing where to look helps. Salesforce has the Power of Us programme, while Taproot and Catchafire can connect organisations with professionals offering their time. A clear project brief usually gets better responses than a broad request for help. Listing the specific tasks, skills, and expected outcome can make the conversation much easier.

Hello, I would be interested in improving my Salesforce programming and administration skills. I would like to work for a project, my available time would be aprox 2 hours per day. I don't want to take any money, I just want to gain more experience(I currently have 2 years of experience). If you need a Salesforce Developer and Administrator please let me know. Thank you!

Hello Trailblazers

I am reaching out on behalf of Sport Grounds 4 Future (SG4F), a Geneva-based international organisation dedicated to bridging the trust gap in African community development through resilient infrastructure and data-driven governance.

We are currently preparing for a high-profile live demonstration at the UN AI for Good Global Summit (10 July) and are seeking expert pro-bono support to refine our Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud environment.

The Context: Our Symbiosis Blueprint creates durable community hubs in Africa, using sport as an anchor for health, inclusion, and economic empowerment. To ensure these assets remain functional for generations, we have developed a digital operating model that provides auditable reporting to international donors.

Within our ecosystem, Salesforce serves as our centralised platform for operational governance and impact tracking.

It is where we manage:

Participant & Programme Registries: Tracking engagement for youth, women, and persons with disabilities to ensure inclusive access.

Maintenance Intelligence Logs: Acting as the final repository for operational data, proving that our infrastructure, such as solar grids and water systems, is being managed with professional-grade discipline.

Stakeholder Management: Coordinating the diverse ecosystem of partners and federations supporting our 6-hectare pilot site in Tuabou, Moudéry, Senegal.

We are looking for support to ensure our Salesforce environment is "Summit-ready". This includes optimising flows and dashboards to show how real-time signals from our wider stack (including Splunk and Make.com

) become actionable, governed records that demonstrate local impact.

This is an opportunity to see your expertise showcased on a global UN stage. By helping us refine this platform, you are helping SG4F prove that community infrastructure can be transparent, reliable, and global-ready.

If you have experience in Nonprofit Cloud, Flow Builder, or impact reporting and wish to contribute to a project with significant international visibility, we would be delighted to connect!

Best regards,

Samy

Offering Salesforce Volunteer Help for Non Profits: Admin & Data Reporting

Hello Trailblazers.

I'm Bhairavi and I'm looking to volunteer for a salesforce project for a non-profit organization.

Currently, I work as a Data Ops Analyst where I use salesforce daily to manage request lifecycles, track case progress and ensure smooth data reporting in the environment. Alongside, I have also built my admin skills by working on a Salesforce based Training Management System as a project.

I can help with :

  • cleaning up and structuring data
  • building or fixing flows and automation
  • improving reports and dashboards for visibility
  • supporting day to daya admin tasks

I’m currently working toward my Salesforce Administrator certification and trailhead, so I’m especially keen to contribute where I can learn while delivering real value.

I can commit a few hours each week and would love to support a mission-driven team.

If you’re working on a pro bono project or know of one that needs support, feel free to reach out.

Thank you!

If you're the one person holding together a Salesforce org that someone else built five years ago and then disappeared, this is for you.

I'm opening up a handful of free, no-strings Salesforce org audits for nonprofits in this community. Not a discovery call that turns into a pitch — just a real audit, plus a written action plan you can use with or without me.

What you get:

  • A full pass through your org — data quality, automations, permissions, unused fields and objects, anything quietly costing you time or putting your data at risk
  • A plain-English breakdown of what's solid, what's fragile, and what's actually broken
  • A prioritized fix list, ranked by effort vs. impact, so you know where to start
  • Turnaround in 1 business day

I can take on a few of these right now. If you want one — or you're a fellow pro bono volunteer with a nonprofit client who could use a second set of eyes — comment below or DM me what's bugging you most about your org.

If you're the one person holding together a Salesforce org that someone else built five years ago and then disappeared, this is for you.

Hello Trailblazers!

I'm Hutton, and I'm looking to volunteer my time and expertise to support a nonprofit organization that needs Salesforce assistance. I have a long history in complex enterprise environments, including 3 years working directly at Salesforce.org, and I'm passionate about helping organizations get maximum value from the platform.

I hold multiple certifications, including Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Business Analyst, and Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist. This background means I speak both business-strategy and technical configuration languages.

I can help your nonprofit with:

  • Cleaning up messy data and old records.
  • Mapping out your current processes to make them easier and more efficient.
  • Building better reports and dashboards for more transparent decision-making.
  • General Admin support and configuration to boost user adoption.

If your team needs strategic guidance or hands-on help to turn Salesforce into a true asset, please send me a direct message!

Hi everyone,

I am a MERN stack developer who recently achieved Salesforce Ranger status while studying for my Administrator certification.

To bridge the gap between theory and practice, I am looking for volunteer opportunities or small projects to gain hands-on ecosystem experience.

I can immediately assist your team or nonprofit with:

  • Configuration: Customizing objects, fields, and page layouts.
  • Analytics: Building actionable reports and dynamic dashboards.
  • Data Management: Cleaning, importing, and organizing data records.
  • Automation: Designing basic, efficient Record-Triggered Flows.
  • User Support: Troubleshooting issues and managing user permissions. [1, 2]

I am highly detail-oriented, committed to following Salesforce best practices, and eager to contribute to your success.

Please reach out if you have a project or need an extra set of hands!
