Effective Today: Retiring Exam Delivery Closure

Exam delivery for the 24 retiring certifications officially closed today, Monday, August 31, 2026. 

Any retiring exams that were scheduled past August 31st will be canceled in the next 1-2 business days. If you paid by credit card, you will receive a refund. If you used a voucher, it will be reinstated unless it has already expired. For any questions or issues, please submit a case via Salesforce Help.

What Changed:

• Updated exam content: We've updated the Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder exam content to align with the Summer ‘26 release.
• New exam guide: The new exam guide is now available with the updated exam objectives:

Protect Your Trailblazer.me Account: Voucher Scams Targeting Trailblazers

Scammers are offering fake or discounted Certification exam vouchers to trick Trailblazers into handing over account access — then locking them out and demanding payment to "restore" it.

Protect yourself:

• Never share your login credentials, verification codes, or account access. Salesforce will never ask for these in exchange for a certification exam voucher or discount.
• Only buy exam vouchers through official Salesforce channels. Purchasing or accepting vouchers from unofficial resellers or third-party sellers violates our Certification Policies.
• Treat any "account access for a discount" offer as a scam — no exceptions.
• Never pay anyone claiming they can "restore" your account access.
• If your account has been compromised, submit a case right away via Salesforce Help.

Two NEW Certifications Are Officially Live  

Get ready for what's "Next"!  

The Salesforce Certification program has officially launched TWO exciting new certifications: 

1. Meet the new Marketing Cloud Next Consultant certification! This certification is for practitioners who work hands-on with Marketing Cloud Next in a consulting or implementation capacity. 

Ideal candidates have 6-12 months experience implementing or administering Marketing Cloud Next. Register here. 

2. Meet the new Tableau Next Consultant certification! This certification is designed for practitioners who implement and maintain scalable analytics solutions within the Salesforce ecosystem.

Ideal candidates have experience navigating Data 360 architecture. Register here.
