ForceForFood

Has anyone ever attempted a drive and gotten no response from their group? No one in my group brought canned food to our meeting last month, so I was going to waiting until the holiday goodwill had worn off a bit and do my own food drive in our neighborhood around the first of February, but the Boy Scouts just beat me to it this week.

Feeling deflated, but will try again next year. Our group is growing and I won't be so new & overwhelmed next year - can start talking it up in August or September.

What were the results from this year?

Denver WIT group met last Wednesday.  I didn't have a way to weigh the food, but my best guess is around 100 lbs!  @Stacey Warren

The RTP UG's meeting/party was last night and we collected 175lbs of food for the Interfaith Food Shuttle! I am humbled by the generosity of this community! <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

The Orlando UG participated in the food drive again this year. We collected 84 pounds and $250 (donated by Conga!).

Registration is open for @Admin Group, Denver, US Q4 meeting!

December 6 from 9:30-12 at the Denver Field House (1600 Federal Blvd.)

Lots of exciting stuff:

1. It's our first event using the new Salesforce event management platform (woot woot!)

2. We're collecting responses for our annual salary survey through November 18 (https://www.getfeedback.com/r/Bt6ac26w) and will review the results at the meeting.

3. We're taking part in @ForceForFood again this year.

4. Thanks to our awesome sponsor Capstorm @Mary Smith.

Please go to our website, attached here, for the details on all of the above things, for the link to register, and more!

Q4 Denver User Group Meeting

@Jayvin Arora will there be an option to collect money for a food bank this year?  Last year we signed up, but had trouble collecting because of our downtown SF meeting location.  Would love to participate though.

Happy Dreamforce everybody, and welcome to Force For Food 2016! If you're interested in participating, please sign up in the sign up sheet in the left nav. Also, please help get the word out. I'll be publicizing this over the week

Team Duarte is loading up 50lbs of food and heading to donate right now!

@Jayvin Arora Have you looked at the Google Sheet lately??  I added in a total pounds calculation.  I hope you are sitting down when you check it.  It's pretty big.
