Hello! I am looking for tips/advice on how other nonprofits organizations use the soft credit feature and how you record matching gifts, e.g., when a donor's company matches the donation they made to a nonprofit. TIA!

 I believe the soft credit concept is to be able to include someone who helped with a donation but isn't the person who actually made the donation?   

Also, we have scenarios where a donor makes a gift to my nonprofit. It is matched by their employer but the donation comes through a third party service such as Benevity. I'm trying to figure out the best way to reflect that...should Benevity be included in SF to reflect them as the payee? And then somehow connect the company that the donor works for who actually made the match? I'm having some trouble figuring out how to reflect all of this in the Donation record.
