I have got a requirement. Tableau desktop dashboard(live connection) has to be refreshed automatically for every 10 seconds.I found an autodata refresh .trex file online that can be used as an extension.its working fine and data is getting refreshed for every 10 seconds.

Data has an ID column and its values range from 1 to 24000. The requirement is, for every 10 sec refresh the next id value has to passed a filter without any manual intervention.

For example, when I opened the dashboard, the initial filter value should be 1, after 10 seconds, it has to take 2 from the ID column as a filter and after 10 seconds it has to take 3 as a filter and so on until it reaches 24000.

Dynamically change filter values for every 10 seconds.

All this work has to be done on Tableau desktop. At Least for now I am not going to publish the work online or server.

    Hi @Udistara Vegeshna

If Jonathan's suggestion doesn't do the trick, you might find this link helpful:

I've not tried this, but it appears you can use the extension and set the refresh in seconds.

    Maybe it will help?
