I had to download a 3rd party software program to find these big files hogging my system storage. What did I find? Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep .exe files taking up gigs upon gigs of memory. Why is Tableau leaving these behind when these old programs are uninstalled or newer versions are installed to update current software?Big .exe files being left behind by old versions

    @Matt Gonzalez​ Tableau isn't leaving the files; 1E Nomad is. The files shown are the Tableau installer files. A standard user will download those to the Downloads folder, install the software, and then delete the file. They are not removed by uninstalling because they are not part of the program itself.

    NomadBranch is a branch cache of the peer to peer network that 1E Nomad creates. These types of networks are often used by companies so computers can download packages from another computer on the same network instead of hitting a central store several jumps away.
