Hello to everyone!
I currently live in Athens and all my working tasks are about the UTC of Greece. Every 6 months the UTC of the Country changes. For example today(28/3/2022) the local timezone is UTC+3.
4 days ago(24/3/2022) the local timezone was UTC+2.
And here is where the problem comes.
All Subscriptions and the Extract refreshes of the Tableau server are set to UTC+02:00 Europe/Athens by me.
As a result, all subs and refreshes have 1 hour deviation from the desired one.
Do I need to change the UTC timezone of my account, every time the local timezone changes? (That's about the Subscriptions)
Do I need to change the UTC timezone of refresh schedules, every time the local timezone changes? (That's about the Extracts)
Thank you in advance!
Hi @Menelaos Ampartzakis
Yes I think you will need to change the timezone for subscriptions and extracts. If you think about it, UTC will never change but the +/- around UTC will change based on location or in this case daylight saving.
