I was exploring some practice questions for certification preparation and that's when I stumbled upon this question. Is the answer a NO coming from the perspective that joins are possible only before publishing it to the server or is there any other angle to it.

Note: If the connector you want is not available from the Connect list, cross-database joins are not supported for the combination of sources that you want to join. This includes connections to cube data (e.g., Microsoft Analysis Services), some extract-only data (e.g., Google Analytics, and OData), and Tableau Server data sources.
