Is Salesforce Admin still a good career choice for freshers considering the rapid growth of AI and Agentforce?

As AI agents become capable of handling tasks such as data management, configuration, automation, and other basic admin work, how much of a Salesforce Admin's work is likely to be automated?

For someone starting their career now, should we still choose Salesforce Admin, and what skills should we learn alongside Admin to stay relevant in the AI era?

    Hi @Aarthi Chakepelliwar

Since you’re a fresher, I would recommend focusing on one core path first rather than trying to master everything at once.

    Recommended order:

     • Salesforce Admin + Flow – Build strong fundamentals

     • SOQL + Basic Apex – Develop a good working knowledge

     • Data & Integration – Understand APIs, JSON, and data management

     • AI/Agentforce – Learn how AI can be applied to Salesforce

Start by becoming strong in Admin + Flow, while gaining basic knowledge of the other areas. Once your foundation is clear, you can specialize based on your career interest.

Also, focus on real-world projects and problem-solving, not just certifications. This will help you become more confident and job-ready.
