Hi everyone,
I’m trying to build an Agentforce Employee Agent using Agent Script and want the agent to automatically understand the current record context
when it is opened from a record page.
I’m specifically asking about Agent Script, not the older / legacy Agentforce Builder approach.
The behavior I’m trying to achieve is:
- user opens a record page
- asks something like “give me a summary for this record”
- agent automatically knows which record the user is referring to
- no need for the user to manually enter the record id
What I’m seeing right now is that the agent behaves as if record context is missing
.
So I wanted to ask:
- Has anyone recently tried this with Agent Script?
- Were you able to access the current record context reliably at runtime?
- Is there any special setup needed for record-page context when using Agent Script?
- Any gotchas compared to the older builder-based setup?
Would really appreciate if anyone can share a working pattern or recent experience.
