I'm working on one of the projects where I need to show our client the data gap present in their feed.
I have a Date field and Success Flag where,
Flag = 1 (means the feed was successful)
Flag = 0 (there is a data gap)
I need to show the data gap for all the feeds and the data is starting from 2016. There is a lot of data gaps that I can't show in a single chart but I'm still exploring options to find a better way to present it to the client.
I'm a naive Tableau user hence I'm asking for suggestions, any help here is really appreciated.

I don't know that I can offer the "best" way. My understanding of these things is that it nearly always depends on what the message is, and who is seeing it. I do have a few suggestions though.
I've put together a demo workbook, with sample data. To start, it's really difficult to see the failure as a numeric, since it's zero. So I've written a calculation that maps the 0 to -1.
Success Flag2:
IF [Success Flag] = 0 THEN -1 ELSE 1 END
Now this allows me to draw some visual components. This sort of feels (to me) like a diverging display of some kind might be appropriate, so you can see color for both successes and failures along a timeline. The first thing to come to mind is a diverging bar chart. I'm just using the SuccessFlag2 as the height of the bar. This should give a visual idea of how often a job is failing or succeeding.
Next would be a lollipop chart. Same sort of idea as the diverging bar chart, but less ink and maybe a bit more subtle.
My last suggestion would be if you're trying to display a cumulative effect of all the failures or successes. If this is something that would be of interest, perhaps a waterfall chart? This is decrementing for failures, then incrementing for successes. This may be a good way of showing for a process that should be happening daily, how much of a "deficit" the failures are compared to success.
Another thing you could try if the overlapping graphs/circles are getting overwhelming is to combine the success vs. failures into groups of dates, such as weeks or months,
