I thought the recommendation these days is to use BLANK versus NULL. I still I see threads in the Community that use NULL

In a
Decision element, I need to check whether a record ID exists. I followed the solution from the thread, and it worked. I needed a way to handle this in a record-triggered flow that would check if a Campaign Memberexisted - otherwise, a flow error would occur. Screenshot below.

@Gustavo A. Seluja ISBLANK() is best for text fields, since it handles both empty strings and null values. For record IDs, numbers, dates, or booleans, Is Null is the correct choice. Lookup fields are NULL when they don’t have a record, so your Decision element is spot on.
