Hello SF community,

I've recently set up Enhanced Recurring Donations in my org, but have a problem with how it's working. When I create a new recurring donation with these specifications:

  • Open
  • Installment plan: every 6 months
  • Established date: 7/1/2024
  • Effective date: 7/1/2024
  • Day of Month: 1

What I expect to see is the first payment opportunity is automatically created starting 7/1/2024, which I would set to closed and paid because I created this recurring donation in response to a new client starting to pay their subscription on 7/1/2024.

However, what I see is the first payment opportunity is automatically created with the date 1/1/2025 (6 months later). I then have to go back and manually change the dates of that to be 7/1/2024, and then it will create the next installment 6 months later as it should.

Is there something in my settings preventing the first installment opportunity from being my established date? I saw in the https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/modules/donation-management-basics-with-nonprofit-success-pack/create-recurring-donations article in the "Create an open-ended recurring donation" section that the first installment was created in the same month as the donation was established. That should be what I see too, but I don't. Any ideas?
