is it possible per standard in Field Service to have travel time calculations?. I am just putting some examples what I mean, even if this is not a requirement, just curious about it:
- Travel time from home or company office to the customer location (domestic, abroad if a technician has to take a flight)
- Travel time from customer location to another customer location
- Do you consider as travel time the time you spend waiting for your flight or train or bus when you have been dispatched to a customer?

Heiko Lindner (Privat)Travel time will be calculated by field service, if you have valide addresses in field service. An example:
- starting in the morning and after the last appointment in the eventing, travel time will be used like:
- the SA assigned to resource has a valid address, then field service uses the address from service territory membership address, if there is a valid address
- if service territory membership does not have an address, the system uses the service territory address. If there is not address, travel time will not be calculated
- between to SAs on the same day, the addresses from SA1 to SA2 will be used for travel time calculation
- if you have overnight stays and long time travel times, there are some restrictions, same with multiday appointments
- how travel time will be used in a company is really different, I have customers, there is the whole SA duration incl. travel time. Other companies calculate the travel times different ways.
