Lightning page Component visibility filter on related list

Hello All,

I have a parent object and child and child object is added as related list under Parent. Both Parent and Child have lightning record pages which is org default. On the child lightning page, there is a filter under component visibilty to show certain records only (based on checkbox). Parent lightning page hasthis related list shown. However when I open the parent object, related list is not getting filtered based on the lightning page filters (it shows all records). 

Shouldn't the child lightning page filter automatically be applied to the parent record page? I can't add the child filter on parent page as the filter is per line record on child and child page fields aren't available on parent.

I am trying to create the page to show all parent records and child under related with filter on child to show only specifc child records. Not sure if this is possible using lightning.
