After switch to SQL in Analytics studio, how to switch back to SAQL

Hey peeps,

 

I am new to Salesforce analytics studio and switched to SQL; however, too many functions not supported with salesforce version of SQL and I want to switch back to SAQL now. How can I switch back?

    Hi Scarlett,

     

    To switch back to using SAQL (Salesforce Analytics Query Language) in Salesforce Analytics Studio, you can follow these steps:

     

    1. Open Salesforce Analytics Studio and navigate to the workspace where you want to use SAQL.
    2. Select the dataset that you want to use for your analysis.
    3. Click on the "Edit" button in the top right corner of the dataset preview window. This will open the dataset in the "Data Manager" interface.
    4. In the "Data Manager" interface, click on the "Transform" tab.
    5. In the "Transform" tab, you will see a text editor where you can enter your SAQL code. You can use this editor to write and execute SAQL queries just like you would in any other code editor.
    6. When you are finished writing your SAQL code, you can click the "Run" button to execute the query and preview the results.
    7. If you are satisfied with the results of your query, you can click the "Save" button to save your changes to the dataset.

    Alternatively, if you want to switch back to using SQL in Salesforce Analytics Studio, you can simply follow the same steps and enter your SQL code in the text editor instead of SAQL.
