We sat up multicurrency years ago and have Commercial using GBP, USD and EUR, and Sales using GBP and USD. Opportunities are created with Commercial record type and Sales record type.
Sales now want to sell in Euros so I have created a price book in EUR. However the sales user, when creating an opportunity, can't set the currency to EUR. They get the message "You cannot enter an opportunity in Euros. Please select either GBP or USD."
I can't find where to allow the sales user to choose Euros. I (admin) can create a Euro opportunity but my sales users can't.

Thsi seems like a customised message. Can you check if you have a validation rule on Opportunities that excludes System admins maybe?
