Adding a New Gift Entry Field

For Spring '23, we have to add a field called Enable_Gateway_Assignment__c - but on what object? And I assume it's a checkbox?

 

Do I make the Field on the NPSP Data Import object, and then on the Donation and then map it in NPSP Settings > Advanced Mapping? And then add to the Permission Set?

    This is at the package , settings -> configuration level

     

    To manage Elevate Gateways in NPSP:

    1. From the App Launcher, find and select NPSP Settings.
    2. Click System Tools | Elevate Gateway Management.
    3. To set a default payment gateway, click Edit and select your default gateway in Select Payment Gateway.
    4. Save your changes.
    5. To allow payment gateway assignment in gift entry templates, turn on Enable Gateway Assignment.
