Case Description field limit issue

Question

In Email to case , email body is saved in Case Description field but this field is having limit of 32000 characters.

User is unable to edit that case as getting "You can't use more than 32,000 characters."

Is there any workaround or can we truncate email body before saving to Case Description field.

You can use record trigger flow and update tractate field using formula and reassign the value LEFT(!$Record.Description,30000) use this value in variable and update

Hi Priya,   What is the benefit of increasing email body as it is stored in Case Description field. In my case Case description is over 32K and users are getting error while editing the record  “You can't use more than 32,000 characters.”    Please provide an solution to overcome above issue.
