New to the Community? Introduce yourself! đź‘‹
We'd love to get to know you a bit better, so please introduce yourself! If you're stuck for things to say, here are a few ideas:
- Where you're from or where you live now
- What’s your favorite part about being a consultant or why are looking to become a consultant
- What are your hobbies or interests are
- What you’d like to get out of this community
But first, let me introduce myself!
I’m a Director-Global Partner Enablement at Salesforce. You’ll see me here a lot, managing the forums, chatting, and generally helping out. I’ve been in the IT industry since the mid-1980’s (no I’m not old, just well seasoned), originally as a developer, then as a serial entrepreneur and business consultant. I love the great outdoors, Tough Mudders, and I am an avid reader. Enabling others isn’t just my job, it’s my passion!
Don’t be shy, tell us a little bit about yourself below!
Hi @Ron Budreau & everyone~,
I'm Yumi from Hawaiʻi.
I'm still navigating the waters of finding which path is the one for me. I'd love to see where consulting takes me.
I have soooo many interests. That's most likely attributed to my ADHD (ND). On a high overview, I generally love the arts (especially in dance & music), culture, food, language, travelling, healing modalities, watching comedies, etc.
I'd love to connect with others who are of the mindset to support each other with compassion & empathy and are willing to be an active participant in helping the collective. I come from a healing background prior to the pandemic so I had absolutely no experience in tech before SF. There have been challenges thus far, but I'm really looking forward to seeing where this road takes me.
Nice to meet you all~
me ke aloha,
Yumi
