I tried to upload opportunities using the NPSP Data Importer and somehow the importer uploaded 50,000 new records, the majority of which were blank rows in the CSV file. I tried to dry run these hoping that the dry run would notice that the majority of these rows were blank but it didn't, and now I have 50,
#Automation #Nonprofit #Integration 00 records waiting to be imported. I'm hoping I can just delete this entire import and start over, but I'm having trouble figuring out how. In the "Mass Delete Records" screen there no option for deleting an import, just things like delete accounts or contacts. And when I try to just delete the records from the Dry Run - Validated view and re-upload they just come back when I'm ready to upload (from doing this I now have 50,017 records to be imported). Does anyone have a good solution for this? How can I just delete that batch from SalesForce entirely, even before it's fully uploaded?
@Samantha Buntich, Workshop is a free tool: https://workbench.developerforce.com/login.php. You may need to grant your profile access to it, or create a permission set for admins and devs that may need it.
