Is is possible to sync resources / public calendars from Outlook to Salesforce or vice versa?

All employees of my customer use Outlook and the Outlook Calendar together with the planning resources function. 

Only a few of those employees also use Salesforce and the Lightning sync on events. 

There is an option is Salesforce to also plan you resources when creation an event done with public calendars.

Is it possible to sync those resources with outlook as well?

Since all employees work on the resources with outlook and only a few in Salesforce...

I did not find any config settings in the lightning sync to set this up.
