NPSP 3.0, HH Account model question.

If a Contact's preferred address for them *as a Contact* is their work address, then I want Address Override checked, because any mailings to their HH should be to their HH address, not their work address. So far so good.

But if I ever uncheck Address Override, their work address will be lost forever, overwritten by their HH address upon saving the record.

I can't store their work address as a record in the Address object because if I ever make it primary, the HH will get it.

I prefer not to use the secondary address fields so I can always use a single set of fields in Contact reports that will be used for mail merging.

What is the best practice for keeping work address local to a Contact, but not risking its loss?

Hmm...I do sometimes want the Work address to show up in a Contact's Primary address fields...but not in the HH and other Contacts that are in the HH. Since Address is related to HH and not directly to Contact (I think), I guess it's not possible.
