Does Membership Origin rollup to Account (org and HH) after edit?

I just mass updated the field "Membership" Origin" for a bunch of membership Opps from blank to "New", then I pressed the Rollup Donations Batch button.

On the Account record (both organization Account Opps and HH Account Opps), the corresponding field "Membership Origin" did not change.

But if I create a new membership Opp record, the rollup of this field works.

Which fields have to change on the Opp to cause Membership origin to rollup (or for NPSP to sense that a change has occurred and rollup all Opp fields to Account)?
