I am working on developing some new rollups around Contact Hard credit using customizable rollups (in a partial sandbox with existing opportunity data).
I am noticing that when I run the batch job for the rollups from the NPSP Settings/Rollup Donations Batch not all Contact records are being updated with the new roll up value. The field remains blank on a large number of Contact records.
If I use the Recalculate Rollups button on Contact for one of these records, it does update the value. Similarly, if I add a new opportunity to a Contact the numbers get updated.
I checked that there are no errors in the Apex Jobs when running the batch job, and we're NOT using incremental mode.
Is this a known issue? How can we trigger the update of new roll up fields on existing records reliably?
Ok great. Partial Sandbox can be tricky to test in for this very reason. Glad you found that error though!
