Look-up value based on user role/profile

Hi All,

I'm needing to add a new custom 'filtered' picklist / look-up field, that only displays people in a specific role/profile. The field would be 'Customer Success Manager' and we would need only those who have the role set as 'Customer Success Manager' to populate in this picklist / lookup field. 

The field will also need to be mandatory for specific roles. For example, all Sales Reps that have a role of 'Team Sales' will need to fill out this field to close the opportunity. 

Are these currently possible, and if so, what would be the best way of setting these up?
