The users listed below cannot be added as team members because they do not have read access to the associated account. Ask the record owner to grant access to these users. Users not listed below were successfully added to the team.
A Sales Manager wants to add an Account Team Member to another team members account team. We have setup sharing rules that give read/write access to all Accounts for our Sales Managers so I don't know why they would be recieving this error.
Any ideas?

Look at one of the users identified as not being able to be added. What profile do they have? Do all of the users that couldn't be added have the same profile? Does the profile have at least "read" access on the account object, as opposed to NO access?

The access level can’t be less restrictive than your org’s default account access level. The options available to you vary depending on your org’s sharing model and whether you’re using Salesforce Classic or Lightning Experience. Regardless of sharing access, account team members must also have the Read permission on accounts to view accounts that list them as members.
