Validation Errors While Saving Record(s) There were custom validation error(s) encountered while saving the affected record(s). The first validation error encountered was "Formula has no columnType"

I get this error when I am trying to save a formula field which calulates days between two date/Time fields? Can anyone help me with this?

    May I suggest you turn on the debug log and then check there which validation rule is failing the same also check if there are any rollup summary fields
