Events Randomly re-sending to Invitees?

Is there any instance when marking an event as complete will send to the invitees/attendees upon making that change?

 

We are using Lightning and syncing via Salesforce Lighting for Outlook.

 

What would trigger an event to send out again?

    Hi Karin,

     

    Have you checked if you have any custom setup (automations or triggers) that could be running on the Event object?
