I am using the Process Builder in this case because I wasn't able to trigger the Approval Process alone with an "IS CHANGED" formula in th criteria.
My question is; what Entry Criteria should I put on the Approval Process itself? PB allows me to ignore the criteria when a record enter the process, but won't the approval check every record edit on the object the approval sits on? I only want records that meet the PB criteria to run through the approval.
(I require an approval to be triggered when a Contract with a settlement date less than yesterday, and is record type A or B, and one of 4 fields is changed, FYI)
Thanks!

Hi Gerry, so are you suggesting the PB will run before the approval whenever a record is changed?
I can't just put "true" as the criteria on the approval, Step 2 of creating a new approval process asks me to specify entry criteria and wants me to enter a proper criteria or a formula. I can either skip over it and leave it blank or will need to enter a field = true or a formula to equate to true.
Thanks for your help!
