Albert Hauksson a posé une question dans #Customer Service
I've created a custom object called Product Demos for demos that I host with prospects. I want to know if they are successful, that is the customer bought. These demos are linked to either Leads or Accounts, e.g. a lead asks for a product demo or current customer asks for a demo of another product of ours.

When prospects buy our products online they are added as accounts and have the product they bought linked to them. Note that they are not converted from leads so it's not enough to check if the have been converted.

I want to be able to check if a demo (for a specific product) matches an account and a product linked to them.

Could anyone point me in the right direction?

The best practice way to track interactions with your potential customers is to use Opportunities.  As soon as you know that a person represented by a Lead record is worth interacting with, you should convert them to an Account/Contact and then use an Opportunity to track the interaction.  The Opportunity Stages can tell you how far each Sales cycle is, and whether it results in a Win or a Lose.   In addition, you can see your success rate of "all demos" vs "demos that ended up losing"
