Our sales reps use the Salesforce for Outlook plugin. It seems that the newer versions of this plugin require Enhanced Emails to be turned on in order for this to work. Turning on Enhanced Emails says that emails will no longer be stored in Salesforce as Tasks, but will instead be accessible via the Emails related list. But I seem to only be able to add this related list to the Cases page layout. When I try to add it to Accounts, it is missing from the list of options. Does anyone know a way around this? Our sales reps don't use Cases, they just manage Accounts, and at the moment all their emails are being stored against the Account.

How to add the Email related list to Account page layout?

I wanted to bring up something that feels like a missing piece in Salesforce: the ability to have an Email related list on the Account page layout. Right now, while activity details capture email information, there isn't a place to view a full list of all emails attached to an account in one central location.

Emails are a key part of business communication, and having a dedicated related list on the Account page would streamline the process for reps and users who need to quickly reference past email interactions. This would reduce the need to dig through individual activities cases/tasks/etc. to find email conversations, ultimately improving efficiency and ensuring a more complete view of customer interactions.
