I am trying to set on-demande-email-to-case. But I have an issue in the email forwarding part. I configured the forwarding of outlook emails to salesforce email service but when I send an email to my outlook email (for testing) the received email doesn't get forwarded to the SF email service and get the mail delivery system with this text:
"
This message was created automatically by the mail system.
A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:
>>> ra1447156553218@o-2mqjx4r8ajl066pk3v8t49p91ce2iahbgfi9sufdn68gs2nuct.2-7kgkeay.eu4.case.salesforce.com (Undelivered): 551 ra1447156553218@o-2mqjx4r8ajl066pk3v8t49p91ce2iahbgfi9sufdn68gs2nuct.2-7kgkeay.eu4.case.salesforce.com is not a valid address.
"
My SF email service adress is: bra.huda@a-ik7f7lczf777tldx50gzwnq1z08xa3ooa5233ztsb2xavzlqn.2-7kgkeay.eu4.case.salesforce.com
which seems to be a bit defferent from what I am getting in the mail delivery system message.
So, did any one of you incountered this issue in the past? If yes, could you please describe how you solved it?
Thank you in advance.
Br, Ibo

There is no way I know of to shorten the address. You can use email-to-case with any email address such as a gmail address, so I sometimes use a test gmail account if I want to do some email-to-case testing. Could you try testing this out with a different email address and see if you get the same issue? In other words, edit your email to case address, and enter a new email address, like a test gmail address. Then, in gmail, set up forwarding to the Salesforce email address and see if you can get it to work from there. This might help determine if it's an Outlook-specific issue.
