I've downloaded the following component via appexchange:

Since haven't received answer from the support, Im trying my luck here.
The component is luckily unmanaged so basically I should be able to customize it.
So how can I change (add different columns, fields etc.) the page layout view of this component in lightning?
below you see the table that is opening up as soon as I click on the component, this view I'd like to change, add additional information columns, customize fields, change fields etc.

Yes, we can not do this simply editing the layout. You need to do some coding for this.
