Workflow field update formula

I'm looking to write a workflow that looks at the value in formula field, and depending on what is displayed, select picklist value in another field.  So for example, if the formula field has a value, option A would be inserted in the second picklist field.

    @Norm Lowe,

     

    Try remove check box under field update.

     

    Now, change the "Pay Upfront" = anotehr picklist value and save the record. now 

     

    change the "Pay Upfront" =  "Annual In advance" and save the record and look for the 

    "Billing prequency" is updated with Annual or no?

     

    if this wont work, try to create new record this option

     

    Pay Upfront" =  "Annual and check ocne.
