Delete report folder

I've heard that if you delete all the reports in a report folder, and want to leave the reports in the recycling bin... you have to wait 10 days before it'll let you delete the report folder.

 

I don't see this documented anywhere, can anyone point me to documentation or a article about it?

 

Is it 10 days? And even if they're still in the recycling bin, you can actually delete the report folder?

    You are not able to delete a report folder until the reports have been purged from the recycle bin.  If you try to delete a report folder and the reports are still in the recycle bin, you receive this error message:

     

    You are not able to delete a report folder until the reports have been purged from the recycle bin.

     

    I think in terms of days, then you are probably making reference to the 15 days that an item stays in the recycle bin prior to being permanently deleted (unless of course your org reaches its Recycle Bin limit, in which case Salesforce automatically removes the oldest records if they have been in the Recycle Bin for at least two hours.)
