Need assistance in order to make slight change to entitlements.

Question

Users have the exact same entitlement and would like to ability the change ownership on accounts/opportunities/contacts which they own. example Mike owns Account ABC Mary should be able to change ownership.

Security Controls>Field Accessibility>View by Profiles>choose the profile>then click on Record Type Company>choose Account Owner Email. It clearly states..."The Account Owner field is currently Editable for the National Standard user profile when viewing the Company record type."

However when a this profile goes to change ownership they get an error message how I do correct so that they can change ownership on each others accounts

Already attempted, we have a private model.  When I checked the modify all it give total access to the users

Hi Nathan,    Does the user wishing to change ownership have a profile with "Modify All" Access for the objects?   You can find the level of access for the profile by going to:   Setup>Manage Users>Profiles>Select the Profile>Scroll down to the "Standard Object Permissions" section. There you will see if there is a checkmark in the Modify All column.    Good Luck! Hope this helps.
