Validation Rule - If LookUp field is blank then Checkbox must be True and if Checkbox is blank then lookup field cannot be blank

    You couls also try a One-Size Fits All Rule (but I try to avoid it) 

     

     

    IF(ISBLANK(Lookup_Field), 0 , 1) 
    <> 
    IF(CheckBox_Field = TRUE, 0 , 1 )
