They are both set up on their user record to receive emails if they are the approver or delegated user. Today the delegated user forwarded me an email showing that only they were copied on the approval notice email. The actual assigned approver said they did not receive the email. I need to make sure that they both receive the emails.

Hi Godsey,
to our understanding the the assigned approver only gets the Email Alert and not the Delegated Approver.
correct us if wrong in understanding it
