I have a roll-up field on the Opportunity that is counting the number of child-object (called Deal Desk Forms) records. There is a filter to say it should only count Deal Desk Forms where the field "Version Type" is set to "Master Terms". I have the calculation method set to "automatic calculation".

Roll-up field not auto-calculating

The roll-up formula is working correctly when a Deal Desk Form is initially added. However, if the "Version Type" on the form changes to something other than "Master Terms", the roll-up field does not recalcuate. Below are two examples - one where the "Version Type" has changed, and one where I've actually DELETED all Deal Desk Forms. The roll-up summary field never changes.

#1 Changed Version Type

#2 Deleted DD Forms

Has anyone run into this before? I do not believe this is expected behavior for a roll-up summary field and I'm going crazy trying to figure it out. SFDC Support has not been helpful and I'm starting to wonder if they actually have a bug on their end.

Thank you for any thoughts or advice!

I just tested this in my DE org and mine is working correctly. I am on na9 if it makes any difference.

To be specific, I created a rollup on Accounts to COUNT all Opportunities that have the Stage Closed Won. I set an Opp to Closed Won and the RUS showed 1. I changed the Stage and the RUS changed to 0.

I just tested with a custom object and it performed normally as well.
