i have been using chat with the console for a few months now in a very basic way, I have seen some interesting demos about how you can customise the console for a really great user experience using case feed over the out the box layout. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas they could share or screen shots of what's possible.

There's a lot out there, but if you want to learn for yourself I'd recommend the Service Cloud Workbook (http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/workbook_service_cloud/workbook_service_cloud.pdf) which has a great section of setting up both console and live agent that provides additional reading if you want to develop it further. You can do a lot without code too. If you are a coder then you'll find the Live Agent Developer's Guide (http://www.salesforce.com/us/developer/docs/live_agent_dev/live_agent_dev_guide.pdf) very useful indeed.
