Quote PDF link not clickable in lightning

Question

As you can see in screenshot attached, we put the quote PDF related list on the right column, but it does not have the PDF name linked to the attachment like it does if you were to click "view all", then you can click the name and it shows you the PDF. Anyone know how to fix and it still be in the right column?

Hi Will,

I tested it a trailhead playground (our Org doesn't use Quote PDFs) - and it looks like that's a limitation of the size of the column :( . There are 3 options you can try that will all give you the link:

1. You can move the component to the main region and the clickable url will show up

2. You can change the lightning page layout to a header and two equal-sized regions and the link will show up

3. You can add the related list Notes & Attachments to the sidebar to be able to click on the PDF itself

Unfortunately, I realize none of those are ideal, but option 1 and 2 allow you to still use the buttons related to Quote PDF such as Email PDF. If you can add the pdfs to the bottom of your main region or if you can handle two equal sized columns, it should behave for you.

Hi Will,   It's hard to tell from just the screenshot, but there are a couple things you can try:   1) verify that the correct "clickable" field is displayed in your related list.        (Go to Page Layout, scroll to the related lists, find the Quote PDFs list and check the fields. Without knowing your Org, I would suspect it's the "Name" field or equivalent that you would want)   If that doesn't work, then try   2) check if the right list view is used on the Lightning Page        (from the record page in the screenshot, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of your screen and select  Edit Page . Click on the Quote PDF component on the page and test the display options on the right and see if Default, Basic, or Enhanced works better.)   Let us know if that works.
