Hi,

Our org has a role hierarchy set up in the following manner:

- Director

    - Manager 1

         - Rep 1a

         - Rep 1b

    - Manager 2

        - Rep 2a

        - Rep 2b

        - Rep 2c

    - Manager 3

        - Rep 3a

        - Rep 3b

I have created a dynamic dashboard with reports which show only the teams opportunitities etc. Thus every manager can only see the reports based on their team when they login.

Some of the reports where i have chosen "My teams activites" doesnt filter by the managers team. it shows activities for all the reps (1a-3b) irrespective of viewing the dashboard as MAnager 1 or 2 or 3.

Any idea why i cant see activities by team? In some of the opportunities reports which are filtered by "my teams opportunities" I face the same problem.

How can i resolve this?

If your Opps are public, then everyone can see them. To control accessibility, change Opps to Private, then add a sharing Rule based on Owner.  If that doesn't get you what you need, you can use the Report property 'Save report hierarchy'. Uncheck that so the report runs with the hierarchy of the current logged in User.  (This is available from the Report on the Save button.).
