Dan Bettan a posé une question dans #Sales And Marketing
Hello All,

New (FRUSTRATED) user.   Heres my issue.

I wan to use salesforce to manage and call a list of leads.  The interface doesn't really allow for that, IF I start on a list, even if I put the leads into a campaign, I have to click the lead and go to its record, make the call log the call and go back to the list  wich gets re sorted, and I lose my place.

OK, so I went lookiing for an app int he exchange to help I found a few "call down campaign manager"  looked great. but I"m on Salesforce Professional, and it sales it doesn't work with my version.  Same with the others.  So I look around on the internet and found that most people use the console view for this type of this, I go to the console view and it says I don't have permission to use the console, and I find its only avialable for the group edition?

is there something I can do to help with this problem, it would seem to me, having a list to call and being able to enter your activity and notes should be all presented on one page instead of clicking around back and forth from list views to contact views to activity views and back to the list.  Its very clunky.  Any thoughts?

Dan, sorry to hear you are having a frustrating experience so far. The power of Salesforce can also sometimes be its most frustrating part. That is its flexibility and reliance on customizing to get the most out of it. Your questions is a common one and there is no one way to solve it. The Console may very well be an excellent solution for you and should be one you can work out. Console is available in PE but it takes a little bit to get set up. Hopefully you will find these links helpful. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
