Our company used to use Google Apps business acount for our emails. There is a Gmail icon under Contact Roles and next to the Contact's email adderess which I would like to remove. I want to do this so as to make sure that everyone in the company is sending emails from the correct server and not Google Apps.

Can you please tell me how to remove it from the Salesforce system altogether.

Thank you.

    Hi Carly,

Here's a link to the Gmail to Salesforce user guide: http://na13.salesforce.com/help/doc/en/google_gmail_activate.htm

To deactivate the Gmail Buttons and Links:

    1. Click  Your Name  | Setup | Administration Setup | Google Apps | Settings.

    2. In the Activate Google Apps Services list, click Edit next to Gmail Buttons and Links.

    3. Click Edit, and then deselect any Active checkboxes to deactivate Gmail Buttons and Links for your organization.

    4. Click Save.
