We have the following scenario for approval which I cannot get to work.....

Entry Criteria is Quote = Type Strategic

And Approver is set to Manager of Quote Owner in main approval settings

Then there are 3 steps and sometimes the quote may hit the criteria for each step;

  1. If Country = Russia then Approver is 'Named User from Compliance'
  2. If after the person approves and the discount is >15% must go to the Quote Owners Manager for approval
  3. If after approved and the discount is =>15.01% must go to the Regional Managers Manager

If step 1 is bypassed all works fine as routes to quote owners manager and then when they approve it goes to their manager -

ALL GOOD

However, here comes the issue

If the 1st step criteria are hit and the compliance person has to approve, then the next step criteria are met it will only like to submit to the last approver's manager, you cannot have it do step 2 back to the quote owners manager.  Am I missing something?

I did find a knowledge article that suggests it's just not possible which seems bizarre, what are my options, can I have them as 2 separate approval processes and have 1 invoke the other after final approval from compliance?   Knowledge Article (https://help.salesforce.com/articleView?id=approvals_create_automatedfield.htm&type=5)

    Hey Karen, can you share a screenshot of the approval process, which shows the steps as well. Thanks!
