How do I move a column to be the first in a table?

I'm trying to move one column to the far left in the table, but I get the following error message:  "Project Name cannot be moved and must be the first field in the related list" (see screen shot).  I looked online and read that "The first field cannot be moved.  They are considered as unique identifiers for the record."  Any suggestions on how to work around this?

    Anybody knows if its possible to do the same for Products Consumed? Cant seem to find the information in the xml file referring to that specific related list. I can find the Work Order layout xml file, and I have edited that before to fix other objects with this problem. But Product consumed does not show.
