I have a field ("Stage"). I want to generate a report for all the projects where the "Stage" field has been updated to "Commitment" in the past month. I want to do this using history tracking rather than adding another date field onto the page layout. I've enabled History Tracking and have checked the box next to "Stage". Now how do I report on it?

That's okay, you should be able to just select an "Opportunity Field History" report and add whatever filter criteria you need. Are you having a specific problem doing this?
